2004 – Queenstown – New Zealand
The New Zealand snow party town of Queenstown was again our location in 2004. A planned quick beer after skiing (which turned into several beers and a pizza) lead us to meet some locals and discover some great otherwise unknown bars and restaurants.
This tour trip focused on Coronet Peak and The Remarkables. As our name would suggest, we discovered a simple trail in The Remarkables that, as it turns out, can be skied at amazingly high speed. We unfortunately also ‘discovered’ that little balls of ice (death cookies) can lead to some spectacular spills.
